I held this photoshoot to capture Santa Barbara's 'golden hour’ in a cathedral abandoned by Covid-19. I continued to create high levels of contrast in the photo by emphasizing the blacks allowing the natural lighting and thereby my subject to glow and stand out from the background. Additionally, the deep shadows create fragmentation in my photos causing sections of my subject’s body parts to meld into the background.
