The main focus of this photoshoot was an attempt to capture minimalism in nature. I took the bright light of the sun to slightly overexpose the scene creating a direct contrast between the unicolored blue of the sky and the abstract shapes of the creamy-colored dunes. As the sun fell later in the day I again attempted the dunes, at this point they were colored in shades of brown, with deep shadows and still glowing sky bringing a galactic feel to the shoot.
